I am writing this letter in reference to a Omkar Tamang, I come in Népal in 2009, with an association in his village, so we’ve met there. He guide me in the Anapurna round during 16 days, and it was the more marvellous trip i have ever do, amazing landscape, beautifull and so nice people. The walk was in progress and without stress ,always take care about my health and my confort, he was a perfect guide, important things when he is near the pass, or sometime into the rain. We’ve met a lot of people from all the world, share meals, and good relax time talking about our country, or about the extraordinary country was the Népal. What experience! stay a little time at the pass, up there it was like a reward!! so for all this gift i say thank to my guide, but first to my népali brother!!”

To Whom It May Concern
I’m writing this letter in reference to a Salam Singh of whom I had the pleasure of being my guide on the helambu trek. Being from the Bronx, New York City. I never really had much of an opportunity to do much trekking before . I being the know it all that I sometimes thinks I am (as we all do sometimes ) through that there wasn’t much to trekking at all. Just a walk in the hills. But I was mistaken, there was definitely is a lot to trekking. Sitting here ,2 days after completing my trek , it’s an experience I will treasure always and most of my thanks go out to Mr. Salam Sing , who proved himself to be not only a first class guide, But a first class person as well. I strongly would recommend as a guide, who not only guides, but who cares alsoJackie Maher, Bronx,New York

Anette and I met Salam Singh Tamang at the Durbar Square in Kathmandu and he offered us his service as a guide . First we had no intention in taking a guide but after seeing Salam’s records we were convinced. Salam helped out with all the planning’s like tickets and so on.
Our trek started the 5 of July and ended 15 of July, during this time we trekked from pokhara to Tatopani and back . Salam as a Buddhist and native is very nice to have to deal with.
Especially trying to teach me nepali and correcting and laughing when everything was screwed up.
So we can only recommend salam as a very nice guy and he knows the Nepal mountains like his own pocket.Thomas Weine, Kallangsvagen 63, 181 44 LIDING0, SWEDEN

This letter is to certify that Salam Singh Taming of Kathmandu ,Nepal .served as guide to our trekking party fro october 12,1987. meeting him at the Central Immigration Office in Kathmandu, Salam made all necessary arrangement for porters, transportation to Dumre, and was encompassed the Annapurna Circuit, crossing the Thorong-La Pass, and on to the Annapurna Sanctuary.
During the time of our travels, Salam was at all time friendly, helpful ,informative, and completely trustworthy.
His selection of porters to accompany our group was excellent, with all proving to be equally as competent.
it did not take long into the trip to realize what a rare find we had made in selecting Salam for our guide.Should you decide to do same, you will surely made a wise choice in picking who we considered to be the best guide
in all of Nepal ! Good Luck in your travels
