This Trekking for 20 to 30 days on Kaligandaki valley and making excursion to Tilicho lake and further upto an altitude of 16,000 feet. It is a long difficult course beginning from Beni on the Kali Gandaki.The seventh highest mountain of the world- Mt. Dhaulagiri is situated north west of Pokhara is the most popular 8,000m peak for climbing to its highest point at the eastern end. Rising above the local terrain and rises to 7000m, it is almost unique in the world. Mt. Annapurna 1 and Dhaulagiri stands near the Kali Gandaki River facing each other over a deep valley.

Before the discovery of Kanchanjunga Mt. Dhaulagiri was thought to have been the highest mountain of the world -was first discovered in 1808. The White Mountain is known as a splendid peak rising as a giant shoulder of shining ice and snow. Though the trekking in this trail is not easy it is the popular destination for the adventurous trekkers. Topographically Dhaulagiri region is steep with snow caped Himalayan peaks and large area.

The sixth highest of the world is the popular religious trekking site is the Dhaulagiri. This area is surrounded with the hidden river, ferns and oak forest and other deciduous trees and juniper forest. This trail is the spot of rhododendron forest and many species of flowers with alpine flowers dotting the windswept ground above the tree line. Trekking in the huge peak is challenging task because of the remote trek. Trekking in this region is rewarding but need a sense of adventure and the knowledge of topography.
