Rolwaling is the east-west valley below Gauri Shankar (715m), just south of the Tibetan border. This is an isolated and culturally diverse area but most treks conclude their visit to Rolwaling by crossing the Tesi Lapcha pass (5755m) into Khumbu. It is adviseable to cross Tesi Lapcha from Khumbu into Rolwaling, not by visitiong Rolwaling first.It is a hard trek lies in Nepal Tibet border very few trekkers have been successes because the mountain terrain seen always covering. The way follows between giant mountains with glaciers located in eastern parts. Many hidden valley and very high passes should be crossed. On the way we should walk over glaciers between high mountains which provide the splendid panoramic views of more than 39 mountains over 6000m.
Variety of plants and animals with 526 species of birds find here. Many kinds of monkeys, the himalayan tar, guar, musk deer, himalayan black beer, wild dog are the interesting part of this area. In spite of this rise, the area offers Nepali culture reflected by Tibetans with primitive monasteries and beautiful festival. To take the enjoyment of this trek in its fullfledged 8 to 25 days should be separate.
